China's central bank is unlikely to tighten policy further in the second half of this year Women's Cyrus Jones Jersey , which could cap rises in market interest rates, a central bank adviser on Tuesday was quoted as saying by the China News Service.


Under its "prudent and neutral" stance, the People's Bank of China (PBC) shifted to slight tightening at the start of the year, guiding market interest rates higher during the first quarter. But it later pumped out substantial cash in response to a surge in short-term rates caused by a financial deleveraging drive.

The adviser's comments come as China's program to contain debt continues, and as weaker-than-expected July data suggested the economy is starting to cool under the weight of higher financing costs.


In June, sources told Reuters that the PBC would hold off on further policy tightening and could even slightly loosen its grip in coming months.


Responding to market expectations that the PBC could cut banks' reserve requirement ratio (RRR) again if it aims to achieve a steady money supply growth Women's Deatrich Wise Jr. Jersey , Sheng said an RRR cut would send too strong a signal on policy loosening to the market.


"The central bank is much happier to increase money supply via monetary tools," he said.

Reuters predicted PBC may cut the RRR by 50 basis points in the first quarter of 2018 .

The premier noted that over the past 45 years， Australia and China have risen above their differences， "gradually built up trust and properly managed disagreements in the spirit of equality and mutual respect."


Similarly， Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull wrote an article in the Australian Financial Review that shared the sentiments of the visiting Chinese leader， saying "Australia's ties with China have never been more important or dynamic than they are today."


"The relationship enriches both nations， improving the lives of our people and we could not imagine modern Australia， the most successful multicultural society in the world， without the extraordinary contribution of Chinese Australians to our Australian families."


As Australia's largest trading partner， the significance of bilateral relationship can not be understated， with Turnbull adding that China has directly aided Australia's prosperity by "supporting the jobs and growth agenda that is at the heart of my government，" he said.


"The natural one to gravitate to is the free trade agreement at the end of 2015， because that is producing tangible gains for Australia-China trade，" James Laurenceson， deputy director of the Australia-China Relations Institute at the University of Technology Sydney， told Xinhua.
